The town of Salisbury is looking for qualified candidates for an open Payroll and Accounting Assistant position. This position is primarily responsible for the accurate and timely payment of invoices, ensuring compliance with municipal procurement policies, and supporting the overall operations of the finance/accounting department. The role includes reviewing vendor invoices, processing payments, maintaining organized vendor files/records, working with departments and outside vendors to resolve discrepancies, assisting with payroll processing, and other finance department tasks as needed.
