The town of Leicester is seeking a qualified individual for a part-time data collection clerk in the Assessor’s office. This is a 19 hour per week, non-benefitted position working under the direction of the Principal Assessor. This temporary position is expected to last two to three years. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, conducting site inspections, measuring, taking photos, gathering data to ensure accuracy of current property information, permit inspections, sales reviews, entering data into the Assessor’s CAMA database and office work as needed. Applicants must have a valid Massachusetts driver’s license. The successful candidate will have professional, interpersonal office and field skills, knowledge of excel and word, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Assessing, appraising or real estate background and knowledge of CAMA software helpful but not required, as training will be provided.  Compensation is $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, DOQ.
