The city of Cambridge is seeking a highly motivated person to assume the role of Wiring Inspector. Under the direction of the Commissioner of Inspectional Services and the Manager of Building Inspections, and in accordance with the provisions of the municipal ordinances, state laws and the National Electrical Code, perform responsible supervisory and technical work involving responsibility for electrical inspectional work and for the enforcement of law and regulations pertaining to electrical wiring and installation in the city of Cambridge and related work as required.
At least three years within the last five years of full time, paid experience in electrical work as a licensed journeyman or master electrician.
“A” or “B” Massachusetts Master or Journeyman Electrician’s license, issued by the State Board of Examiners of Electricians.
RATE: $41.53 – $49.58 Hourly
