Who is a member?
Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
Candidates must be at least 21 years old, a high school and MPTC Academy graduate, Reserve qualified, or equivalent, full-time certification and Criminal Justice degree preferred. This is a 40-hour/week position, available for all shifts including weekends. Salary is based on experience and qualifications ranging from $34,420 to $55,059 plus benefits. Candidates shall be required to meet specific medical and physical requirements, including successful completion of the Recruit Academy (ROC) Entry-level Fitness Standards, an extensive background and psychological examination. Must have a valid LTC class A and possess a valid driver’s license.
