Wanted: Full-time Payroll Clerk for Central Office with Millbury Public Schools, working under the direction of the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent of Schools. Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: Bill processing, voucher entry, warrant preparation, preparation and posting of revenue and journal entries, general ledger reconciliation and other aspects of financial reporting, payroll analysis, and reporting; reconciles all budgetary accounts; work collaboratively with the Human Resources Department and Treasurer/Collector’s Office, schedule buses for field trips and other school functions; maintains department filing system for official records and correspondence; balance monthly budgets and deposits; maintains a complete and systematic set of financial records of all transactions of the District; prepares and submits written reports to supervisor as required. Qualifications: High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field preferred; three years of responsible experience in accounting, bookkeeping, business administration, or financial management or related field; experience in a school setting preferred or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
