PAYROLL  COORDINATOR

Treasurer Department

SEIU GRADE 8

Hourly Rate Range $25.2448 to $30.2404

This position organizes and operates a stand-alone payroll system and maintains all payrolls for the town, school administration and schools. The Payroll Coordinator works under the direction of the Town and Assistant Town Treasurer/Tax Collectors.

This position enters all payroll-related date and information into the Munis system, generates and verifies payroll labor entry report and prints checks and direct deposit slips for all employees.

Minimum requirements for this position include a high school diploma or equivalent with four to nine months of vocational/technical training in general accounting or payroll operations with two to three years of payroll processing experience or any equivalent combination

This is a benefits eligible position. This position is covered under a collective bargaining agreement with the SEIU and qualifies for the town’s comprehensive benefits package.

This position has an hourly rate range of $25.2448 to $30.2404 working 40 hours weekly.
