Police Officer

The town of Upton seeks to fill the full-time position (40 hours/week) of Police Officer. Recommended Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree in criminal justice or related field; one to two years’ related experience or military training; or any equivalent combination. Full-time academy training preferred. Special Requirements: Certification/training in first aid, CPR, AED, first responder; CORI certified; licensed to carry firearms; possession of Massachusetts motor vehicle operator’s license. Must pass Police Department physical examination, PAT test, and maintain appropriate physical fitness level. Ability to obtain certification by MCJTC within reasonable time. Salary range is $65,287-$92,578 depending on experience and education. Review of applicants will begin on Dec. 8, applications will be accepted until position is filled.
