Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
Under the general direction of the Town Clerk, performs a variety of clerical tasks of a moderately complex nature. Primary person responsible for election related duties, voter registration, annual census, and passport acceptance. Also assisting with vital records and certain licenses and permits. The responsibilities and duties listed below are illustrations of the various types of work performed. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment to the position.

Knowledge, Ability and Skill:
The employee operates standard office equipment. Minimum physical effort is required to perform most duties. The employee is required to stand, sit, speak and hear, use hands to operate equipment. Vision requirements include the ability to read documents and use a computer.
