Starting Annual Salary: $70,065.85 – $100,379.50

The town of Belmont is now accepting applications for the full-time position of Procurement, Records, & Administrative Coordinator for the Belmont Municipal Light Department (BMLD). Under the direction of the Finance Manager, the Procurement, Records, & Administrative Coordinator acts as a key point of contact for all procurement-related matters, maintains department records and control over all legal, procurement and administrative documentation, assists in records access, maintains personnel files and records, as well as other administrative functions.

This position requires an associate’s degree in procurement/accounting or a related field with three to five years of purchasing and/or accounting experience; municipal experience preferred; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. (Certification in the Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official Program (MCPPO) preferred.)

This position is qualified for the town’s comprehensive benefits package including town pension. The Procurement, Records & Administrative Coordinator is a management position with a salary range of $70,065.85 – $100,379.50, working 40 hours weekly. Salary and grade placement will be commensurate with successful candidate’s level of knowledge and experience.
