The town of Westborough seeks applicants for the full-time (40 hours/week) position of Program and Engagement Coordinator at the Westborough Senior Center. Under the supervision of the town’s Senior and Social Services Director, this position plans, organizes and implements a vibrant and robust array of educational and social programs, wellness activities and special events to respond to the diverse needs and interests of Westborough’s older adults, their families and caregivers. Promotes services through public outreach, media relations, and communication tools like newsletters and social media.
Qualifications: Associate degree in human services, or related area of study preferred; one to three years of experience in providing activities, recreation and/or social services to older adults; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Position requires a valid driver’s license.
