The town of Andover seeks qualified applicants for the position of Program Coordinator in the division of Elder Services. Under the direction of the Director of Elder Services, responsible for developing, implementing and coordinating diversified programs, activities and special events for senior citizens utilizing the Senior Center. The Program Coordinator will also be responsible for developing promotional literature for senior programs; recruiting, training and supervising volunteers; as well as managing and balancing the program budget.

Successful applicants will have a bachelor’s degree in human services or gerontology, and have experience in the development and/or administration of activities programs for elderly or disabled people. A genuine interest in working with seniors is a must, as well as regular attendance and punctuality.
