The town of Oxford is currently accepting applications for a full-time benefit eligible Project Manager in its Department of Public Works.

Qualified applicants will have experience providing and managing all aspects of design; permitting; project programming and development; utility coordination and construction administration for the town’s horizontal and vertical capital improvement program. The position is also responsible for administering all DPW related permitting and for reviewing all private development projects requiring permitting through various boards and agencies. Qualified applicants will also have experience managing GIS database platforms for the tracking and modeling of town assets. This position requires many meetings and presentations before multiple Boards and Commissions often in the evening hours.

A BS in civil engineering is preferred or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience with at least five years of progressively responsible professional project management and/or five years of civil engineering experience.

Position is FLSA Exempt, 40 hours per week. Compensation is commensurate with education, training, and experience. Alcohol, controlled substance testing, and criminal background testing is mandatory.
