Property and Tenant Relations Manager

Job Description

The city of Somerville is in search of a Property and Tenant Relations Manager. The Property and Tenant Relations Manager oversees operations, tenant engagement, and leasing across a portfolio of city-owned properties, including the Somerville Armory, 165 Broadway, and the upcoming Ralph and Jenny Center. Serving as the central point of contact, the role focuses on building strong tenant relationships, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction while supporting each building’s role in the community. The Manager coordinates closely with the department of Public Works and other city departments to address maintenance and operational needs, track requests, and ensure compliance with policies and safety standards. The position also leads leasing efforts, including marketing spaces, managing tenant selection processes, and maintaining lease records. A key focus is the Armory, where the Manager fosters a collaborative tenant community, supports arts programming, and liaises with the Armory Advisory Board to advance the facility’s cultural and civic mission. Performs other related duties that may be assigned. 

Hours: full-Time, City Hall hours with availability to work occasional evenings or weekends for meetings and events.

Salary: $90,000 annualized, plus benefits.
