The town of Lincoln seeks qualified applicants for a 25-hour/week position of part-time Human Services Worker from early July, 2019 to mid-November, 2019, which will then become a 10 hour/week position for an additional eight months with the potential for continuing, permanent employment with a greater number of hours. This position will, under the direction of the Council on Aging Director, be responsible for providing social services to residents 60 and older. Candidate must provide case management, information and referral, crisis intervention, call reassurance and follow-up, problem resolution services to seniors and their families, including home visits and office hours in an offsite location.
A Bbachelor’s or master’s degree in social work, gerontology, psychology, or an equivalent mental health field required OR a minimum of three years of progressive experience working with the elderly or in a related human service field.
Compensation: Pay is $30/hour.
