Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
The Public Health Director is the professional, administrative, supervisory, and technical inspection expert responsible for managing the town’s inspection services, public health, and disease control programs. They are also responsible for enforcement of public health laws and regulations. Additionally, they act to promote awareness about pollution and proper sanitary conditions to protect the public and the environment. Finally, they manage a part-time Inspector and two Administrative Assistants. Salary: $85,000-$95,000, DOQ, with a generous benefits package.
