Maine Municipal Association is a non-profit, non-partisan professional organization in central Maine renowned for providing excellence in an array of professional services to municipalities and other local government entities throughout Maine since 1937!

MMA is currently accepting resumes for the position of Public Information Officer. This newly created position will be responsible for the oversite and execution of the Association’s communication efforts. Responsibilities include coordination of Social Media activities, editing and production of the Maine Town and City magazine, media relations and assisting in other departmental communication activities.

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations or related field along with three to five years’ experience in public relations or the communications field. Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills along with solid supervisory and leadership skills.
