The city of Worcester is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Public Records Specialist for the Law Department. This position is responsible for a wide range of administrative duties related to the organization, processing and redaction of public records including but not limited to those for body worn camera video, audio, and data. The Public Records Specialist will be responsible for the timely research, distribution, and response to public records requests, provide customer service to requesters, and maintain confidentiality. This position will use established guidelines and policies for proper use, retrieval and redaction of video and audio data recorded by body worn cameras and other files and documents included in response to public records requests.
STARTING SALARY: $69,898 – $91,542 annually, full-time, exempt, with an excellent benefits package.
