The town of Natick is accepting for the position of Public Safety Dispatcher, both full-time and per diem. Duties include but are not limited to; receiving emergency and non emergency phone calls and dispatching appropriate response for Police-Fire and Emergency Medical Services. The Dispatcher is responsible for providing clerical, support services and numerous other related tasks. Excellent customer service and communications skills, both written and oral are of extreme importance. In addition, basic computer knowledge, good typing skills and the ability to work under stressful conditions are required. Shift cycles include Midnight – 8 a.m., 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 4 p.m. to Midnight. Hourly rate starts at $23.3082 for FY 2021. Experienced candidates are preferred but new applicants will be considered for complete training.
