Andover Police Department

Andover Police Department is looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to work under the Chief of Police performing administrative and highly technical computer work supporting 300 users. Duties include: serving as an administrator for all public safety application systems; providing tier one technical support for desktops and related hardware; as well as acting as the Supervisor of Records, Public Records Office and the Crime Analyst. As Supervisor of Records, supervise two to four members of the Police Department Records Division.

Duties require bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology, as well as five to seven years of progressively responsible management and technical experience. Comprehensive knowledge of public safety operations strongly preferred. Occasional nights and weekends required, as well as being on-call for emergencies as needed.
