RECORDING SECRETARY

TOWN ADMINISTRATOR and BELMONT MUNICIPAL LIGHT OFFICE

Hourly Rate: $18.73

Seeking a Recording Secretary to take minutes at evening meetings of the Warrant Committee, Financial Task Force II, Light Board and Light Board Advisory Committee. The Meetings normally run from two to four hours in length.
Warrant Committee meets Wednesday evenings twice a month, starting at 7:00pm,
Financial Task Force II meets Friday mornings for two to three hours twice a month,  the
Light Board meets monthly on Mondays at 5:30pm, Light Board Advisory Committee meets monthly
on Wednesday mornings.

This position can be held by multiple candidates so if you are available for only some of the
committees please apply noting your availability.

Currently, the meetings are being held remotely through ZOOM, and the Recording Secretary must
attend all meetings in their entirety.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or G.E.D. Knowledge of Microsoft Word is
required, a personal computer.Experience taking minutes of meetings is highly desirable.

The FY 21 rate of pay for this position is $18.73 per hour, and is not eligible for benefits.
