The town of Watertown seeks qualified candidates who will be available to take minutes and provide clerical support to the Town Council committees. The Recording Secretaries will be scheduled as needed by the Town Council and will be responsible for recording and transcribing oral dictation by attending the meetings or from a tape-recorded meeting. High school diploma or GED plus satisfactory completion of secretarial training program and at least two years of related experience required, college degree preferred.  Thorough knowledge of English language, spelling and punctuation; ability to compose minutes and maintain effective working relationships with officials and public.
