The town of Plymouth seeks qualified applicants for the position of RECREATION ASSISTANT for the Recreation Office.
Administrative, programming, and instructional work related to the operation of the town’s recreational program; all other related work as required. Knowledge of various sports and games, as well as officiating. Must be able to deal effectively and diplomatically with children of all ages. Manages Manomet Youth Center and supervises beaches and playground program.
Bachelor’s degree in physical education, municipal recreation, administration, or a related field preferred with two to three years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Special Requirements: Massachusetts Class D Driver’s License, CPR Certified, First Aid Certified.
