We are currently seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of a Residential Inspector within the Finance/Assessing’s Office. Under the general supervision of the Director of Assessing, this position is a fieldwork role responsible for conducting assigned inspections and performing a variety of technical and administrative tasks related to the valuation of residential property, in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws. Qualified applicants should possess a two-year college degree in business, public administration, accounting, or a related field (preferred), along with one to three years of experience in residential construction, real estate sales, or real property appraisal. Anticipated hiring range: $34.73 – $39.64 per hour.
