The city of Portsmouth, NH seeks a Revenue Administrator/Tax Collector responsible for management of the Finance Department’s Revenue division, administering and supervising the operations of city’s Tax Office. Responsible for supervising, collecting property tax, water/sewer bills, parking tickets, and other revenues, issuing motor vehicle registrations, reconciling and depositing funds.

Education & Experience – BS in finance, accounting, business administration or related field; five years’ experience in accounts receivable, accounting, or financial control, supervisory experience preferred. Incumbent should be certified as NH municipal registration agent after hire.

Full time, Grade 19 in PMA; salary $75,458-$91,719
