Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
The town of Dudley is seeking an experienced health insurance consultant to provide expert advice and assistance concerning municipal health care issues, including but not limited to Massachusetts Health Care Reform, GASB 45 and the Affordable Care Act.
The current plans offered to active and pre-Medicare retirees through Blue Cross/Blue Shield are HMO Blue NE and Blue Care Elect PFD. Medex II are offered to Medicare retirees. In FY25 the Town was a member of the Hampshire Council of Governments Group Insurance Trust. The town will also carry stop-loss insurance.
The town also offers a dental plan Blue Cross Blue Shield.
All employees of the town who work 20 or more hours per week are eligible to elect health insurance and/or dental.
