The town of Holliston is seeking a full time Director for its well-established Senior Center. The Director works with the Council on Aging to identify and provide for needs of citizens age 55 or older; helps recruit, train, supervise and encourage paid and volunteer staff; responsible for daily operation and function of the senior center; prepares and submits required paperwork including reports, budgets, and grant requests; functions as liaison to the community and state and federal agencies.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in human services or related field required, and a minimum of three years of supervisory or managerial experience. Experience working or familiarity with, senior groups, preferably in a municipal setting. Ability to foster a warm, friendly, flexible atmosphere. The hiring salary range is $63,200 to $85,393 annually for 37.5 hours per week, Grade M2 with a competitive benefits package. The position is M2 on the town’s management classification plan, and the full salary range is $63,200 to $107,586 annually.
