The town of Ipswich seeks qualified candidates for the full-time, benefited position of Senior IT Specialist – Junior System Admin.
Our Sr IT Specialist responds to level 1 and level 2 calls and supports the technology needs of town users by maintaining servers, workstations, laptops, network devices, peripherals, VoIP phone and telecommunications. You must be a self-starter and problem-solver and will respond to staff queries directly via our IT ticketing system, phone and onsite. The candidate should have solid knowledge of Windows-based platforms and applications, website maintenance skills (editing/creating web pages), MUNIS and O365 administration experience is a plus, in addition to experience working with mission-critical client Production systems and networks. Veeam /other backup solution and any WiFi knowledge is also a plus. Must possess excellent customer services skills and strong work ethic.
Salary: $65,000 – $80,000 DOQ
