Who is a member?
Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
Performs administrative, professional, and supervisory work regarding the Library’s efficient day-to-day operation, including managing circulation staff, providing reference services to patrons, readers’ advisory to patrons and staff, and interlibrary loan services to patrons. Responsible for collection development. Performs all other related work as required.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in liberal arts; and at least three to five years of experience in public library service; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Mass. Board of Library Certification BLT.
This is a Grade 9 benefit eligible, an exempt position classified under the town’s Classification and Compensation Plan. Starting pay range is $$59,946 to $74,896/year commensurate with experience. Employee benefits include county pension, Blue Cross health insurance, dental, life insurance, and short and long-term disability.
