The City of Lowell is seeking qualified, experienced, and energetic candidates for the position of Senior Planner within the Dept. of Planning & Development. This position reports to the Deputy Director for Development Services and manages the Project Review group within the Division of Development Services. Provides initial contact with constituents or developers relative to requests for zoning information, site plan review, subdivision review, permit process, etc. Acts as liaison between an individual or neighborhood group, developer and City land-use regulatory authorities to provide an understanding of a project and its process. The successful candidate will have Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or related field. Master’s Degree strongly preferred. 5-7yr experience in a related field required. The salary ranges from $72,210.32 (min) to $77,698.40 (max) annually.
