POSITION: Senior Treasury Analyst
DEPARTMENT: Treasurer/Tax Collection’s Office
HOURS WORKED: Monday – Friday (8 a.m.-5 p.m.)
SALARY & GRADE: Grade 14 – Salary dependent upon qualifications
Provide a wide range of financial, analytical and business services and products. Assist in debt issuance and planning. Multi-level banking responsibilities, formulation of legislation and updating the wastewater rate requirements study. Administers capital asset replacement plans. Supports and supervise the Trust Accountant on various needs with Trust Fund requirements both local and state, serves as a management resource and maintains a variety of critical information relating to budgeting and planning.
The successful candidate will have three to five years of experience, a bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, political science, or related degree. He or she must have computer literacy to perform the requirements of this position, including Lawson, Munis, banking applications and all necessary software and utilize advanced technological abilities to solve problems, improve processes, issue projections and guidelines. Must possess expertise on a wide range of matters regarding treasury and collections functions, knowledge and understanding of municipal government and applicable local and state regulations pertaining to trust accounting. Experience with municipal RFP process. Must be able to supervise and delegate assignments and responsibilities.
