The town of Andover IT Department has several openings for experienced solution/application managers and analysts. We manage dozens of interrelated application platforms ranging from traditional enterprise ERP/Accounting systems to specialized systems supporting learning management, student performance, facilities management, recreation, vehicle maintenance, GIS, and much more.

We are looking for individuals that combine significant technical skills along with business skills to develop requirements, examine business processes and create project plans. Most of our work involves configuring and integrating third party applications and databases rather than developing large custom systems. Applicants should have a strong understanding of relational database principles, SQL, web design (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) and modern development frameworks (Python, Java, PowerShell, etc.). You should enjoy all aspects of the application lifecycle: defining requirements, architecting solutions, designing databases, loading/cleaning data, interface building, testing, training and project management. You should enjoy the challenge of working on diverse application areas and interacting with multiple end user organizations.

We are open to exploring candidates with limited experience but strong academic training along with more senior candidates with five to 10 years of project management and development experience.
