The town of Sudbury Combined Facilities Department is currently hiring for the position of Special Assistant to the Combined Facilities Director. This position works as a liaison between Sudbury’s various departments, boards, committees, and town officials, performs and supervises a wide variety of complex administrative and clerical duties under the broad supervision of the Director, including procurement, research, data collection, study and creation of reports/projections for relevant budget, capital, energy, grants and other strategic planning needs.
Candidates must have prior facility management experience, strong customer service and communication skills and be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task. Typical qualifications for this position include education/experience equivalent to an associate degree in a related field; and five years of administrative/office experience. Municipal experience, working knowledge of Massachusetts procurement laws and regulations and/or MCPPO certification preferred.
The full hiring range for this position is $65,510 – $86,155 (35 hours per week); starting salary is based on qualifications.
