PAY RATE: $26.62 (Step 1/Specialist per Union CBA) + License(s)

Qualifications: Grade 3 Municipal Water Treatment License within 18 months of hire; preferred upon hire. Must have a valid Class D Driver’s License at the time of hire and be able to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) within 12 months of employment. Licenses must be maintained in good standing as a condition of employment. The town reserves the right to require additional licenses as a condition of employment. Confined space entry training will be required. An Associate’s Degree and/or related job experience preferred.

Applicants will be required to consent to and pass a pre-employment physical examination and substance screening. Applicants must also be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and climb access ladders at Water Treatment Facility locations. Public Works Director reserves the right to assign employees to any work area in the DPW, including the operation of snow plow vehicles and equipment for snow and ice removal.
