Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Process accounts payable, maintain master vendor database and tax exempt documents, resolves inquiries, reconcile miscellaneous receipts to bank deposit reports; provides periodic and special reports to department heads, such as account and expenditure balances and employee leave accruals; enters a variety of data into accounting and payroll software system; produces reports and informational documents as requested;
QUALIFICATIONS: finance or accounting related certificate or associates degree in accounting or finance; min three years full time accounting work experience, municipal accounting experience preferred; payroll experience preferred; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
