The Executive Office of Economic Development, Division of Housing and Neighborhood Development seeks applicants for the position of Staff Assistant I. The Staff Assistant I is actively involved in project management and program monitoring of federally funded initiatives. The Staff Assistant I is also responsible for conducting research, analysis, and writing reports on local and federal contracts and programs related to community and neighborhood development activities. This position provides on-going support for neighborhood revitalization projects and initiatives in the city of Worcester.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, public admin., economics, project mgmt., community development, or similar field of study; two years of professional exp. in project management, grant oversight, or community development projects; and excellent communication skills.

SALARY: $20.58 – $27.27 hourly, full-time.
