The town of Lexington seeks qualified applicants for the full-time (35 hours per week) position of Sustainability and Resilience Officer. Under the general supervision of the Deputy Town Manager, this position will develop programs, policies and initiatives to advance the town’s goals to be equitable, resilient and a zero waste community. Qualified applicants will have a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, energy or environmental policy or a related field as well as five years of experience in sustainability planning, energy efficiency and/or the renewable energy market; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Anticipated hiring range: $63,300 – $74,404.
