Salary Range FY22 $76,039.91. – $86,889.

The purpose of this position is to advance energy management efforts of the town under the general direction of the Facilities Director.  The consolidated Facilities Department is responsible for the efficient maintenance and operation of town and school buildings. This position will be responsible to ensure that all town and school buildings have a preventative maintenance plan, implement initiatives related to building automation and metering systems and develop and maintain equipment and system maintenance logs. This is a full-time 40 hour per week fully benefited exempt management position.

Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, facility engineering, or a related degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Professional certification or accreditation as Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Business Energy Professional (CBEP), Professional Engineer (PE) or LEED Accredited Professional (AP) desirable. Ten plus years of experience in facilities operation, maintenance and/or engineering required. Complete knowledge of direct digital controls, instrumentation, with demonstrated experience with geothermal heat pump systems. Strong knowledge of heating ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Working knowledge of the building trades. Knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel.
