The town of Lexington seeks qualified applicants for the temporary part-time position of Public Health Nurse. Under the general supervision of the Public Health Director, this position will support the town’s Public Health Nurse in technical administrative research, conducting investigations and outreach, administering clinical services and case management and providing health education to ensure and improve the health of the public specifically during the COVID-19 pandemic. Qualified applicants will have a bachelor’s degree in nursing and one to three years’ experience in hospital nursing, school nursing, or a health department setting. Must be a Registered Nurse with the state of Massachusetts and have a valid state driver’s license. $35 per hour. Hours are flexible but evenings and weekends may be needed. Some hours may be completed remotely.
