The Town Accountant performs administrative, supervisory and technical work in monitoring, directing and auditing the municipal accounting system; performs various accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial statements, budget administration, reconciliations, internal and external audits and other related Town accounting services in accordance with the town charter, town bylaws and applicable state and federal regulations. The employee is required to perform all similar or related duties.
