TOWN OF NEW SALEM
The town of New Salem is seeking a part time Town Coordinator (24 – 30 hrs/week) to serve under the Selectboard. Responsibilities include the day-to-day operations of town government; administration of policies set by the Selectboard; attending Selectboard meetings; preparing agendas and providing pertinent supporting documents as needed; grant writing; overseeing procurement; preparing Town Meeting warrants; budget preparation and management of accounts under the Selectboard’s authority; administering town insurance policies; serving as ADA coordinator; and performing related work as required or as the situation dictates. Salary range is $25—28 per hour, commensurate with experience. Health insurance and retirement benefits included.
