The town of Danvers is seeking an innovative, collaborative, and mission‑driven Town Engineer to lead our Civil Engineering Division and help shape the future of our community’s infrastructure. The Town Engineer oversees long‑range planning, capital project delivery, regulatory compliance, and public engagement. Work includes managing CIP projects, subdivision reviews, procurement, permitting, GIS technology, and engineering quality control. The role also serves as the town’s Dam Safety designee and FEMA flood‑mapping representative, and collaborates closely with Planning, Conservation, ZBA, ISD, and Public Works.

Bachelor’s in civil engineering, 15+ years of experience, five-plus years supervisory, and a Massachusetts PE (or ability to obtain).
