The town of Natick department of Public Works seeks a Town Engineer to lead the Engineering division. The Town Engineer supports department goals, manages major infrastructure projects and serves as an engineering authority of the town. They provide overall direction for the Engineering division by planning, organizing and directing field and office activities; developing, recommending and implementing policies, systems, and procedures; and conducting or overseeing the planning, design, location, construction, maintenance and repair of highways, sidewalks, bridges, water, wastewater and draining systems, waterways, and other physical infrastructure and assets.
Responsibilities include planning, design, and construction of roadway and utility infrastructure projects. Managing grants, contracts, vendors, and personnel. Serving as the town’s DPW liaison to boards and committees. The Town Engineer also supports short and long-range capital planning.

This is a union position with the following collective bargaining agreement www.natickma.gov/DocumentCenter/View/20211/DPW-Supervisors-and-Administrators-Association-272-FY25-FY27. Hiring Range: $92,287.24 – $127,641.08, commensurate with education and experience.
