The town of Waterville Valley Select Board invite you to learn about the opportunity to serve as Waterville Valley’s next Town Manager.

Bachelors degree with a concentration/major in public administration, political science, business management or related. Masters degree preferred. Five to seven years of experience in the field of municipal management or similar supervisory responsibilities in a related field, at either a director or Town Administrator/Town Manager level. We also encourage candidates who have a unique mix of experience/education to apply, including those with military service.

This position is a full-time, primarily in-office position with occasional remote work. Town Offices are open M-F 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. This position will periodically require work outside of those hours. The Town Manager attends all Select Board meetings. The salary range is between $125,000 – $150,000 DOE, with salary increases typically of 2-4% per year. Waterville Valley offers comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, vision, retirement. The yown contributes 99% to employee’s health insurance smf offers the Town Manager up to six-weeks of PTO per year and potential assistance with relocation. There is no residency requirement, but the TM should live within reasonable commuting distance. A background check will be required before hire.
