The town of Bowdoinham, Maine is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Town Manager. Known for its farms, artisans and engaged community, Bowdoinham is a welcoming community with a population of 2,961. It has a Town Meeting/Selectboard/Town Manager form of government, and has a municipal budget of $2.177 million with 15 full-time and part-time municipal employees. With a great location, access to Merrymeeting Bay and beyond, a small central village, and a rural character, Bowdoinham is an ideal place to live and work.

The Board is seeking an individual with strong budget and financial management skills, experience developing and managing a team, knowledge of public works and solid waste operations, and experience with general municipal office operations and software. Candidates should also possess excellent communication, organizational and problem solving skills, and have demonstrated leadership ability. Municipal management experience is preferred, but candidates with comparable work experience are encouraged to apply. Salary negotiable based on experience and training.
