The town of Guilford, Maine is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Town Manager. Guilford is a four-season recreational area located in Central Maine with easy access to the Moosehead Lake region and Greater Bangor, with a resident population of 1,500. Guilford has a five-member Board of Selectmen and a Town Meeting, four full-time and several part-time employees and a total budget of $2.7 million. The Board is seeking an individual with demonstrated skills in budget preparation and administration, finance, grant acquisition and administration, public works operations, personnel management and economic development. The Board of Selectmen would prefer a candidate with municipal management experience and a relevant educational background. Individuals with equivalent work experience and educational qualifications are encouraged to apply. Solid organizational and communication skills are a must. Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
