The town of Ogunquit is seeking a dynamic and collaborative municipal management professional to serve as Town Manager. Ogunquit is a small, coastal community with a year-round population of 1,200 people that expands to more than 40,000 seasonal residents and visitors during the summer season.  Ogunquit has a thriving business community with many commercial establishments particularly in the hospitality industry.

Reporting to the five member Select Board, this position manages the day-to-day operations and administration of this community with 40 full time and 50 part time employees and an operating budget of 9.5 million. The town’s total valuation is $1.4 billion.

The successful candidate will be an experienced, visionary leader with exceptional management, organizational, and interpersonal skills and must have a demonstrated record of ethical leadership that creates a cohesive work environment that garners the confidence and respect of the employees and the community.  The Town Manager must have excellent internal and external communication skills, be results driven, and foster a work environment that promotes employee involvement and accountability.  Residency is not a requirement.
