The town of Easton is accepting applications for a qualified individual to fill the position of Operations Manager for the Easton Water Division to supervise the overall administration and direction of the Water Division’s operations; full time, 40 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and at least seven years of related experience in water supply, treatment and distribution programs, of which at least two years have been at management/supervisory level; Possession of Class III Drinking Water Operator’s License (Combined 3 Treatment and 3 Distribution); or any equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate must possess a valid Class D Motor Vehicle Driver’s License and provide proof of an acceptable driving record from the Registry of Motor Vehicles.
Duties include but are not limited to performing a wide variety of very responsible administrative responsibilities dealing with the Water Division’s operations. In conjunction with the Director of Public Works, establishes priorities for division operations, coordinating short and long range planning of the division needs; implements the Massachusetts DEP and EPA federal safe drinking water act regulations; works to provide safe, clean drinking water and adequate supply and pressure for public safety.
This is a union salaried position with excellent pay, benefits and municipal pension systems. Step 1 is $109,703.36 annually; anticipated hiring range is $109,703.36 – $128,533.60 depending on qualifications. Full career range is $150,596.16.
