The city of Lowell is seeking candidates for the position of Transportation Engineer in the Department of Planning and Development. The position reports directly to the Assistant City Manager/Director of Planning & Development; Deputy Director, Division of Planning and Development and is responsible for developing plans for surface transportation projects according to established engineering standards and state, federal or local construction policy. A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a transportation concentration required; At least 15 years of related experience preferred. Registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of MA.
