The Acton Water District seeks qualified applicants for the position of Treasurer/Collector. The Treasurer/Collector is the chief financial officer of the District, appointed by the Board of Water Commissioners. Responsible for the financial management, collections, investments and administration of all District funds, debt management, administration of payroll, including benefits management and related personnel requirements. The position will also function as a key part of the District’s management team under the daily direction of the District Manager.
The position requires a bachelor’s degree in financial management, accounting, business administration, or related field and a minimum of three to five years of financial management experience, preferably in municipal government; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have the ability to be bonded and to obtain certification as a Massachusetts Municipal Treasurer within four years.

We offer an excellent benefit package and anticipated starting salary of $110,000 – $120,000, will be dependent on qualifications.
