Ideal Candidate will be:

  • A highly capable, experienced financial manager.
  • Knowledgeable of municipal finance; experience in treasury and collection functions.
  • Able to successfully articulate the information about Town’s finances to departments, and the elected and appointment boards and committees, as well as to federal and state agencies
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, economics, finance or related field.
  • Three to five years of municipal experience in accounting and/or finance, with supervisory experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, certification and experience.
  • Ability to be bonded required.
  • Certification as a Massachusetts Collector/Treasurer.
